About NPTSG

Neath Port Talbot Stroke Group (NPTSG) is a self-help support & social group for stroke survivors, their loved ones, carers and volunteers. NPTSG is run by young stroke survivors for young at heart stroke survivors.

If you’ve been affected by stroke and find you feel isolated, come and join Neath Port Talbot Stroke Group. We support each other to recover from stroke by rebuilding old interests and creating new ones. We believe in ‘Life After Stroke’. We were founded in 2014 and have grown to an incredible 40-80 members per week. We are run solely by volunteers with the aim to enrich stroke survivors and their loved one’s lives post stroke. We have fun participating in: Group Activities, Workshops, Educational Courses, Arts & Craft, Speakers, Fundraising activities, Social Events, Days Out, Holidays and much, much more. We meet weekly on Wednesdays 10am to 12pm We also welcome healthcare professionals or anyone with an interest in stroke recovery to join us.
