NPTSG Members Recovery Stories

Here we share our members recovery stories. Whether you are a stroke survivor or a loved one/carer, we are sure you can relate to some of the stories from Neath Port Talbot Stroke Group also known as NPTSG members. These are real stories from real people who are continuing their post stroke recovery journey.

A common myth we are told (mainly by well-meaning healthcare professionals) is that our recovery from stroke plateaus and stops within a few months of suffering a stroke. This is not true, recovery continues for as long as you work at it and live with it, this is something that NPTSG members know well.

We hope our stories show you that recovery has continued for all of us at NPTSG and continues to do so.
